Logo and social media elements for a freelance at-home lash technician.
I was inspired by my client's gothic style and her passion for all things dark and alternative.

BTEC graduation project.
Purifungi is a Belgium-based startup, who have developing a technique to clean up cigarette butts of their contaminated particles through the use of myco-remediation (the use of fungus culture to bio-absorb, digest and degrade pollutants).
This innovative fungal decontamination method was originally used to clean-up polluted sites. PuriFungi transposes the technique on cigarette butts and owns a patent on the technique. Mushroom strains are inoculated on butts which become a "food source" for the cultures. A digestive process generated by the mycelium - the root system of mushrooms - degrades the pollutants present in cigarette butts.
At the time of my diploma, their website and branding looked very different, hence why I chose this start-up as my imaginary client.
My rebranding mission included a new logo and a website mockup. I focused on mycelium's root-like structure and how it evokes a network and cooperation.
The rebranding includes natural, earthy tones of cool brown and beige.
The logo combines Mic 32, a round, sans-serif font for "puri"; and Royale 45, a cursive font, for "fungi".
This distinction helps to understand the concept: purification by fungi. The "i"'s face one another, representing a support network. The last "i" resembles someone putting out their cigarette.
